Course Description
Radiation safety training for radiation workers in licensed medical programs — nuclear medicine and PET technologists, hot-lab and radiopharmacy staff, and anyone who receives, prepares, administers or surveys radioactive material. Covers the instruction required by 10 CFR 19.12, ALARA, occupational and public dose limits, declared pregnancy, monitoring and dosimeters, posted areas and labels, security of material, surveys, receiving packages, contamination control, patient release, spills and reporting.
The course runs video, post-test, then certificate. The post-test unlocks after the full video has been watched and requires 80% to pass.
